At Friday, privacy is built into the architecture from the ground up. Your notes, financial budgets, vendor figures, and personal spending records are stored exclusively on your device.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect, harvest, transmit, store, or sell any personal data. Friday operates 100% offline. We have zero visibility into:
- The contents, titles, or code blocks within your notes
- Your budget dashboards, allocations, or line items
- Your logged expenses and custom category groups
- Your IP address, location, or usage statistics
2. On-Device Sandboxing
All data generated in Friday resides strictly inside Apple's secure application sandbox on your physical device. We do not operate external database servers or analytics servers.
3. Third-Party Trackers & SDKs
Friday contains zero third-party advertising SDKs, analytics frameworks, or tracking pixels.
4. Data Backups & Portability
Friday provides modular JSON backup capabilities under Settings → Data Management. Backup files remain entirely under your personal possession and can be stored in your iCloud Drive or local Files app.
5. In-App Purchases (Pro Unlock)
Optional purchases to unlock Friday Pro are processed directly and securely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive, process, or store your financial or billing information.
